Jesus is calling you today:
Follow Me!

How will you respond?

Follow Me! is a discipleship training programme for personal and spiritual formation targeting young Catholics aged 16 and over; it comprises eight weekends and lasts over one year. It is rooted in Catholic teachings and provides an opportunity to learn through practice, exchange and actively learn to follow Jesus.

Follow Me! draws on over 30 years of experience in running short and long-term discipleship training programmes for young Catholics on five continents.

Are you ready?

Have you ever wondered about your life and that maybe you are created for great things? Have you ever dreamed that your life could have a real impact on your generation?

The Acts of the Apostles, the book in the New Testament that describes the young church very vividly, ends quite suddenly. It only mentions that Paul stayed in his rented flat for another two full years and preached the kingdom of God unhindered (cf. Acts 28, 30 and 31). Somehow a strange conclusion. Ok, the duration of tenancies or rental agreements was already important back then - but is this really such an interesting comment?

Many see this abrupt ending as an indication that we, you and I, should continue writing the Acts of the Apostles, the history of the church. For the history of the church does not end with a reference to the duration of a rent. On the contrary...

The story continues! With you and me.

And the exciting thing about the book of Acts is that it is characterised through and through by men and women who were totally different, but had one thing in common: they were true disciples of the Lord! Regardless of whether they were men or women, whether they were young or old, whether they belonged to the Twelve Apostles or to the many disciples of Jesus - they all went to the same school, to the school of the Master, to the school of Jesus. For three years. Then they were filled with the Holy Spirit, again and again - and they impacted their generation tremendously.

Follow Me! is about exactly that - going to the school of Jesus.

For over one year, throughout eight weekends to make a significant impact in your generation. You will be the one to write the next chapter of the Acts of the Apostles.

Are you ready?

Whether you are going to be a mum or dad, whether you are going to stay at home with the children, work ‘in the secular world’ or work as a missionary, whether you are going to be a religious, a cleric or married - we all need to learn what it means to follow Jesus. We all need to get close to Jesus, understand what He is like, how He sees us and what He thinks He can do through us.

We are already looking forward to seeing you!

The discipleship training programme “Follow me” deepens the faith received in baptism and confirmation within the framework of a communal church experience and enables the participants to actively engage in new evangelisation. Bishop Rudolf Voderholzer, Regensburg
I am grateful and pleased that young people from our Archdiocese have the opportunity to participate in the discipleship training programme “Follow Me” since many years. Quite a few take advantage of it and the positive fruits are undeniable. Franz Lackner OFM, Archbishop of Salzburg, Austria
